Director of Operations
Reporting directly to the Executive Director and the Leadership Team: working toward the highest level of consumer care, continuity of care, organizational efficiency and efficacy as it pertains to the day to day operations. Provides leadership to clinical and non-clinical staff in all programs while establishing and nurturing a positive and productive environment for the overall health and well-being of the individuals we serve. Oversee operations for Turning Leaf’s CARF Accredited Residential Treatment, Community Housing, Day Treatment & Community Integration programs. Provides strategic planning, marketing, and supervision/leadership services for the organization and its employees. Will also function as the Turning Leaf Safety Officer and Corporate Compliance Officer.
Provides mental health, co-occurring disorder and substance abuse screenings/assessments and determine appropriateness for placement within Turning Leaf’s continuum of care while adhering to established admission criteria. This position develops and nurtures stakeholder relationships as they relate to program development and referral sources within the community through the facilitation of tours, attendance of relevant conferences, phone contacts and statewide assessments. Will be responsible for entering into agreements with referral sources ensuring their appropriateness with respect to rates and authorized services; under the supervision of the Executive Director. Will ensure consumer census is maintained at programs statewide, in relation to campus availability/staffing levels.
Ensures compliance with all state licensing, CMHSP/PIHP contractual and any external accreditation body standards (CARF) using a variety of methods. Joint development and assurance of adherence to policies and procedures as it relates to the organization and its employees. Development of performance indicators required by external accreditation body including but not limited to Strategic Planning, Effectiveness, Efficiency, Service Access and Satisfaction. Development of quarterly analysis reports of outcomes data collected and provides plans to improve the quality of services offered. Candidate will report findings to Leadership Team on a regular basis. Assist with the design, revision and implementation of service quality improvement strategies as they pertain to Turning Leaf policies and procedures.
